Join the Help the Hellbenders team on Tuesday, July 16th in the early afternoon at Rothrocks Mill Blue River Access Point near Lavenworth, IN. In this unique volunteer opportunity, you will be able to help with releasing hellbenders into the Blue River to improve their population in the wild. If you are interested in volunteering or learning more please email Nick Burgmeier at nburgmei@purdue.edu. It is outside so please plan accordingly and make sure to wear clothes you don't mind getting wet and closed toe shoes.
