I am sure that you are all aware of the spread of the Coronavirus in the United States, and the impacts on travel and gatherings. Our own Hoosier institutions are taking precautions, and many have recommended canceling events with over 50 attendees. In light of these events, as we want to keep our members and partners safe, we have decided to cancel the 2020 Indiana Lakes Management Conference scheduled for April 9 and 10. We are working with the Monroe Convention Center, and will be moving our commitment to hold the 2021 conference there on April 8 and 9, 2021. We will be providing registrants with individual refunds; please be patient as we work through this process. We recognize that part of the conference is the annual membership meeting and elections. We will be working on addressing this and other repercussions over the next few weeks. If you have questions, please reach out to an ILMS Board member and we will get you an answer. Thank you in advance for your patience over the next few weeks.Keep an eye out for further communications and stay healthy.
Sincerely,
Joe Schmees
President, ILMS
